We have some very good news regarding our recent national survey of voters. A full 65% of respondents support a balanced budget amendment to the U.S. Constitution.

Our survey reflects true national opinion across a wide variety of backgrounds. We commissioned a leading, non-partisan national polling firm to conduct the survey. We were particularly pleased to find a majority of support across all income groups, ages, and both men and women. Over half of all self-identified liberals and conservatives also gave their support.

These strong results indicate that now is the time for Americans for a Balanced Budget Amendment to reach out to Americans across the country and take action for a cause we so deeply believe in. With unprecedented deficit spending in Washington, our country's debt levels threaten our economy, our retirement, and our children's opportunity for prosperity.
